Summer going fast

Wow..we can't believe that it is almost August already and Dasha has been with us now for 3 months!!
So many new adventures have happened for Dasha. She loves to swim and asks every morning if we are going to go swimming at the swim club!! She goes to summer school 3 days a week for 1 1/2 hours and seems to enjoy it. This week is her last week and we think that she will miss going. She is a bit nervous about starting school in September. Hopefully once she is there and learns her way around and gets to meet some more friends, she will be okay. She also starts soccer in September. We know that she is very good at soccer and will enjoy working off the engery that she has.
She is getting much better at her bedtime routine and she enjoys to read her russian books before turning out her light.
Dasha loves to watch movies too. She understands more and more of the English being said so she is enjoying the plot of the movies too. She will tell us after watching how good the movie was.
She is very attached to Mom. She justs wants to be next to her all of the time. She craves for her attention and her love. When she does not get the attention she needs from her, she becomes very angry and upset. That is when Mom has to be extra sensitive to her needs. We are sure that she has craved this for many years and is very happy to finally have a Mom to love her.
Amber and Dasha still have their ups and downs but overall it is getting better each day. We see more of them holding hands and playing together. They love to make bead necklaces, braclets, earrings and anklets together.
The other day the three girls went up to Lancaster and had a wonderful time. Dasha was so interested in all of the Amish people and the way they live. Dasha loves to shop and she loves to look at all there is to buy.
Dasha is also very helpful. She loves to help Mom whenever she asks.
We are very thankful to have her with us and although it is stressful at times we know that she is our special gift from God and we love her!!!
