Things are finally starting to calm down around here a bit. The chore charts really seem to be working and the attitude categories seem to be carrying some weight for both girls. They are still being getting used to each other but they are getting along pretty good all things considered.
Yesterday was Mothers Day and the girls got up at 8:30am to make Mom breakfast. They gave her each a hand-made card as well as a funny one they bought at the card store. Dasha's was a Hoops & YoYo card (Donna loves them) and Amber's was one of those cards that you talk to and it records your message. Donna seemed to really like them.
Unfortunately for Donna, she hurt her back at her sisters house and was pretty out of it most of the day. Later on we went to Lowes and bought the supplies I needed for the fencing on our front porch. Donna has been asking for me to fence the proch in so when she is sitting out there the dogs can be with her as well. So, I started that project. I also planted flowers on Saturday. The front area looks amazing as always and now we just need to order mulch to finish it all off. This is one of my favorite houses. It just seems to fit us well. We do need anotehr bathroom though so that will have to get done at some point.
